On Saturday 3rd May 2025, two young sisters, Ayesha (6) and Aliya (4), held their very first Charity Car Wash at Yaseys Car Wash in Downley. Their goal? To raise money for the Karima Foundation and help build the new Islamic Centre and masjid.
In just a few hours, with the help of family and friends, they washed cars, greeted supporters, and melted hearts — raising an incredible £2,400.
What stood out most wasn’t just the amount raised, but the sincerity and spirit behind it. Ayesha, a student at Karima, shared how much the Centre means to her. Her effort showed the entire community that even the smallest hands can make a huge difference when the intention is pure.
Their story has inspired many more to step up and contribute in their own way. May Allah accept it from them and increase them in goodness.
