Five Tournaments. Thirty-Five Teams. One Unforgettable Day.
On Monday 21st April 2025, the Karima Kick Off tournament brought the community together for an unforgettable day of football and fundraising.
Across five back-to-back tournaments for different age groups, over 35 teams from across the UK — including Slough, Chesham, and Aylesbury — came to High Wycombe to compete, connect, and contribute to a greater cause.
With over 400 attendees filling the grounds throughout the day, the atmosphere was electric. We were honoured to welcome special guest Brother Freddie (Oumar) Kanouté and even a scout from Arsenal Football Club, making the day even more memorable for our young players.
By the end of the day, an incredible £5,000 was raised in support of the Ribaat al-Muhammadiya project — a vision to build a permanent masjid, learning space, and community hub.
This was more than just a tournament.
It was a celebration of unity, talent, and sadaqah jariyah — every goal scored and every cheer echoing a shared hope for the future.
