At the heart of our new home will be The Ribaat al Muhammadiyah – The Masjid. The Mind, the Body, the Soul.

What does Ribaat actualy mean?
Ribaat is an Arabic term that signifies a fortress or a place of protection. Historically, it has been a stronghold where Muslims safeguard their faith and prepare to defend their community. In today's world, ribaat represents a sanctuary of faith, knowledge, and community - a place where we can find refuge from the challenges and threats we face.
The Ribaat al Muhammadiyah, envisioned by The Karima al Marwaziyya Foundation, is designed to be such a fortress for Muslims. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Guarding the frontier for a day in the cause of Allah is better than the world and whatever is in it" (Bukhari). This highlights the immense value of ribaat in safeguarding our community.
